Barcelona in pictures – part 2!

English: the second part of our trip to Barcelona includes delicious food, beautiful beaches and a much needed boat ride! I hope that these two posts have inspired you for your next trip to the Spanish city. flag-waving-250 0s6l28a6_400x400

20170709_112225One of the last days, we went to Port vell to jump on one of the boats.

20170709_190130 I’m in love with this dress! It was so nice to walk around in this maxi dress in the heat!

20170707_114608 I love all of the palm trees! They really get me in the exotic mood.

20170707_193050Best meal of the trip! Paella at Divinus on Passeig de Gràcia.

20170707_115022 We went to one of the beautiful beaches along the coast, and of course I got sunburned..

20170709_130428One of my favorite activities on the trip was definitely the boat ride!

New in: makeup and fashion

English recap: We couldn’t go to Barcelona without doing a bit of shopping, so we spend a lot of time on Passeig de Gràcia where all of the fancy stores are. I was quite disappointed with Mango since they always have a lot of great things on their website, but they weren’t that good in real life. I did however spend a lot of money in Sephora and Kiko, which I always visit when I’m in another country. I didn’t plan to buy anything big, but when I saw this Michael Kors bag, I had to have it.. And it was even on sale! Do you like what I’ve bought? 🙂

Barcelona in pictures – part 1!

English: I’m back in cold Denmark after a lovely week in Barcelona, and I have lots of photos to share with you! I didn’t know much about Barcelona before we left, so hopefully I can inspire you if you’re considering visiting the city one day.

dsc_0873 Of course we went shopping the first day, duh! They actually had a slide at Sephora, which I was way too excited about, haha!

dsc_0858 We stayed at the Sercotel Amister Art Hotel which was a really nice hotel, and I would definitely stay there again, if it wasn’t for the noise.. The floors were open, which meant that we could hear what was going on in the lobby and that was quite annoying at night.

dsc_0867 The view from our hotel room.

dsc_0869 One of the things I loved about the hotel was the roof top terrace which had a pool! It was so nice to get in the water after a long day.

dsc_0907We visited the Sagrada Familia, and even though it isn’t finished yet, it was so beautiful!

20170706_191534Of course we had to get some tapas, so one evening we went to Tapa Tapa. The prices were great, but there were definitely some hits and misses with the dishes.

Stay tuned for part 2! 🙂

Dritkule Norway!

English recap: It has been a little quiet on the blog for the past week, since I have just spent a week at our beach house in Norway. It is right by the coast, and I absolutely love it! Even though the weather was great, the water was freezing, so I’m praying for warmer water in Barcelona. I’m leaving tomorrow and I can’t wait! What are your plans this summer? 🙂
