DIY – Tassel Earrings!
Hej allesammen! Jeg har strikket en lille DIY sammen til jer, hvis I kunne tænke jer at lave jeres egne tassel øreringe. Jeg har skrevet indlægget på engelsk, så det ikke drukner i tekst. Håber at I klarer jer! 😉
English: Hey everyone! I have made this little DIY, to show you how I made my tassel earrings. Let me kow if you’ll try this at home!
What you’ll need:
-Beads, sewing thread, needle, clear glue, scissors, little hoops, earrings, “bells”, crimping tool.
1: Pull one bead on to the thread, and make two knots to secure it. If you want to make sure that the beads stay on the thread, you can put a dot of glue at the end of the bead. You can make the earrings as long as you like, but I used 45 beads for each thread.
2: Make the amount of threads that you want. I made 10 for each earring. Remember that they can get quite heavy! Tie the threads together in a knot.
3. Tie the threads around a little hoop.
4. Put a large amount of glue on the hoop, and fasten it to the inside of the “bell”. Make sure that it is completely dry, before proceeding to the next step.
5: Pull some beads on to a new thread, and start glueing them to the bell. I did it with two or three beads at a time, to make sure that they would stick on to the bell.
6: When the bell is covered, gather the tassel and the earring with a hoop, and you’re done!
I love tassel earrings but I never thought of making my own. That’s why this tutorial is so clever! You can rock a huge trend for a lot less than you would pay for them at a store.
