Den 17/9 blev min bedste venindes storesøster gift, og jeg var så heldig at være inviteret til hele herligheden. Derfor drog jeg mod jylland tidlig lørdag morgen, for at overvære vielsen, og deltage i den efterfølgende fest. Det var en fantastisk dag i selskab med de dejligste mennesker. Derfor skulle jeg selvfølgelig også se ekstra festlig ud! Til vielsen bar jeg en fin mørkeblå kjole, som jeg har vist på bloggen før. Den kan I se her. Til festen måtter der gerne være lidt mere bling over mit outfit, så jeg valgte denne pyntede kjole. Jeg er vild med farven og at den er lidt indisk inspireret.. Hvad synes I? 🙂

English recap: On September 17, my best friend’s sister got married. I was so lucky to be invited to be a part of their big day. I don’t get to see my best friend or her family a lot, so I was so happy that I could spend the entire day with them. Of course I wanted to dress up for them, so I wore two dresses that day. During the ceremony  I wore a girly, dark blue dress that I have shown you before. You can see it right here. I changed before dinner in to something more festive. I love the color and the beading of this dress! What do you think? 🙂

Selvom vejret ikke er enig med mig, så er det altså efterår! Jeg har derfor samlet nogle af mine yndlingslakker, som jeg elsker at pryde mine negle med, når vejret bliver lidt køligere. For det meste er jeg til de mørke røde og lilla nuancer, men i år har jeg også fået sneget blå og grønne toner ind i min laksamling.. Selvfølgelig tilsat lidt glimmer 😉 Hvilke efterårsfarver forkæler I jeres negle med?

English: Even though the weather says summer, the calendar reads autumn! I am so ready for fall, and so are my nails, so I want to show you my favorite polishes for the cold season. I mostly wear red and purple this time a year, but I managed to get some blue and green polishes in to my collection this year.. Including some glitter of course 😉 Which colors do you prefer for fall?

Man må da sige, at vi har fået en sensommer, der vil noget i år! For mit vedkomme har det været lidt for varmt de sidste par dage.. Jeg længes næsten efter efteråret! Jeg glæder mig altid til støvler, tørklæder og mørke negle når sommeren er ved at være forbi. I dag vil jeg dog vise jer et af mine sidste outfits denne sommer, som jeg hoppede i her i weekenden. Jeg havde slet ikke fået brugt mine høje, blå sandaler i år, så det måtte jeg få lavet om på. De er super komfortable! De er fra sidste år, men jeg tror alligevel, at Bianco har dem på lager. Farven afhænger selvfølgelig af sæsonen. Hvad synes I om dem? I skal selvfølgelig se bort fra at de sidder på snehvides ben.. Vi kan jo ikke allesammen være Pocahontas! 😉

English recap: These past few summer nights have been crazy here in Denmark! Almost too hot according to me.. Honestly, I can’t wait to wear boots, scarves and dark nail polish for fall! This weekend though, I had to jump in to a more summer inspired outfit, featuring my lovely blue sandals. They are so comfortable! I hope you don’t mind that they are attached to the legs of snow white.. We can’t all be Pocahontas! 😉

For et halvt års tid siden lavede jeg et review omkring Christian louboutins læbestift, og det endte med at blive et af mine mest læste indlæg (I kan læse det her!). Da jeg så fik fingrene i den nye lip gloss, vidste jeg, at jeg også måtte skrive om det nyeste skud på Louboutin Beauty stammen. Da disse indlæg som sagt er ret populære, har jeg valgt at skrive størstedelen på engelsk, så det ikke bliver alt for overvældende. Jeg håber, at I vil læse med alligevel 😉

English: Six months ago I did a review on the Christian Louboutin lipstick, and it is one of my most read posts (read it here!). When I got a hold of the new CL lip gloss, I knew that I had to do a review for you guys.. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

Since they don’t sell the beauty line at the Louboutin store in Copenhagen, I had to ask one of my friends to buy it for me in London. You can find it in Harrods for £60. Did you read that? £60! That’s more than what I spend on food in a month.. I knew that it would be pricey, so I was excited to see if it was worth the money. It comes in this beautiful box, which looks gorgeous on my makeup stand.

The range has 8 colors to choose from, going from nudes to bright reds. I picked this ligh pink gloss, with little spakles in it. This one is called Akenana. The applicator has the perfect shape and size, which makes it easy to apply. You don’t even need a mirror. The formula is pretty thick, and it gets a little sticky on your lips. Some people can’t stand it, but I don’t mind. I actually think that the color and shine stay on longer when the gloss is sticky.

The color does stay on for a long time, and even when you feel that there’s not much left on your lips, they are still very shiny. I wanted to wipe it off the product when we were having dinner, and I really had to wipe it hard to get all of the color off. I was really impressed!

Now for the sad part.. I don’t have a lot of bad things to say about it, but one thing is really bothering me. The smell! When you pay £60 for a lip product, you expect it to be as luxurious as it can get. This just smells like a hand cream, or a cheap face moisturizer. I was so disappointed when I smelled it the first time, and I know that I’m not the only one that feels this way.

+: Beautiful color, great shine, the right amount of stickiness (an issue for some people), the lasting power, color payoff, amazing packaging.

-: Crazy price, nasty smell.

Overall, I have to give it 5/6 stars. It is not worth the price, but you need to own it if you love CL as much as I do. Besides, it is one of the best lip glosses I have ever tried, even though the smell is awfull. If you want to take a look at all of them, you can fin them on the CL webside right here.
